Colleges

Bennington was founded on the belief that the education most worth having is the one you create for yourself. The College does not require you to fulfill a set of ready-made requirements; instead, it challenges you to discover your own intellectual identity and to design an education that will help turn you into the person you hope to become. In other words, Bennington does not expect students to conform, but to transform.
The Community College of Vermont is a Vermont State College providing a quality, affordable education to nearly 8,000 students each year. Instead of a central campus with housing facilities, CCV serves students where they live and work, at 12 learning centers around the state and via the Internet.
Southern Vermont College strives to be a just and caring community recognized for excellence as a vibrant, student-centered, career-oriented, liberal arts college.
