RISE to Resilience: a stress management, mindfulness focused program for educators
RISE is an evidence based, research supported program combining ancient yogic principles, modern psychology, and science. Coming out of 50 years at Kripalu Center for Yoga and over 10 years collaborating with Brigham and Young Women’s Hospital, faculty at Vanderbilt University and Harvard Medical School, the program has been delivered to over 100,000 participants in more than 150 organizations.

This program teaches a secular and practical, real life application of a group of proven effective techniques and tools with no yoga mat or meditation cushion required. Results show, on average, a 32% reduction of perceived stress, 8% increase in resilience, 13% increase in mindfulness, and 10% increase in empowerment among participants.

This 6 week program is perfect for those in education and easy to practice during your day! The program is offered in person or virtually.

Ever wanted to learn more about birds? These walks are open to all, and will help people learn to identify different birds and bird songs. Bird watching is incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. With migrant birds already here for the season, it’s a great time to learn your birds! Having a smartphone that can download birding apps is helpful, but not necessary. Binoculars are optional.

These walks will take place at Park McCullough in North Bennington, every Tuesday at 4pm starting on March 12. Rain cancels, and mud shoes are encouraged!
