Introduction:
The SVSU Local Art and Music Curriculum is based on the National Core Arts Standards and the Vermont Grade Level Expectations. The curriculum document was developed by the SVSU Music and Arts Curriculum groups starting in the fall of 2014. The outcome of the local arts curriculum is to create students who are artistically literate, prepared for college and career readiness, and ultimately, able to contribute to and cultivate a lifelong appreciation of the arts.
