Representation and Organization Information

Representation from the District level, all schools PreK-12, nurses, counselors, student support department, social/ emotional and behavior team. In addition, ad hoc members are included from our community partners. The SVSU solicited feedback from SVSU staff between April 9 and April 21, to take what has been learned over the past year, reflect on successes and challenges, and plan for Recovery. The SVSU Staff and Family/Community newsletters shared the survey results on April 23, 2021.
 
Presentations were made at the March SVSU, May SVUESD, and May MAU Public Board Meetings where input and questions were shared. A presentation was made to the Bennington Work Force and Education Team the first Monday in April 2021, to solicit ideas and answer questions. BVSU administered a Teen Summer Employment Survey (4/26), a Pandemic Recovery Community Survey (4/27), and Summer Programming Needs survey (5/6) to solicit feedback from the community to support Recovery Planning.
 
We implemented an SVSU Recovery Survey sent to all staff to collect input for the SVSU Recovery Plan during the month of April 2021. Two hundred and twenty staff responded (118 teachers, 45 paraprofessionals) that represented all PreK-12 sites. We implemented an SVSU Recovery Survey sent to all SVSU Families (families include parents, guardians, students) during the month of April 2021. We received 81 family responses representing all PreK-12 sites.
