Elementary schools in the Southwest Vermont Union Elementary School District are holding Kindergarten Screening meetings in the coming weeks.These meetings will give you and your child the opportunity to meet the staff who will be working with your child come fall.
Kindergarten screening meetings are by appointment only to ensure that each family has the opportunity to ask questions in small group or solo settings. These screenings are low-pressure and help with the transition into a new school.
Incoming Kindergarteners must be 5 years old by August 31. The Enrollment packet can be found under “Handbooks, Documents, & Forms” at www.SVSU.org. The SVSU will be holding a new student registration night at SVSU Central Office on Tuesday, June 16. Keep an eye on www.SVSU.org for more details closer to the date.
